If you got perm banned from PS3..That means they used your mac adress... An Ethernet cable and wifi use different mac adresses. Im not banned but wouldn't be true if you were banned that if you were banned on wifi you can use ethernet and wifi use internet?

Just wondering. Please tell me if im wrong but I probably am since many people should have thought of this by now.

Dont tell me that im a noob and crap because if you knew me you would already know that I am. Happy

The mac address is a special code (not really a code though) that is assigned to every ps3 when it is made. This code never changes so it works basically like an ID to your ps3 and if they put it on their "ban" list your whole ps3 console will not be able to connect online.

regardless of what connection you use on your system the MAC Address is not going to change.

Judgement
Let it fall.
Im pretty sure they ban your PSID (not PSN id). Mac address can probably be spoofed.
