Now you can repeat the methods with PS3DNS and charles (are the ones I've used)

Either way i think that if we all stick together and then do get banned, eventually u would think they would unban bc they will end up losing so much money. i recieved an email not to long ago bout unauthorized software on my system used for piracy and i dont even backup my games, but i wonder if u can still play if u dont sign out...

I actually sent Sony an email about it asking if I removed everything if I'd be safe and all that jazz.

when you are banned your MAC address is banned meaning your PS3 will never get on the PSN again.

Cant you just spoof your ip? Also If you have a pc with 2 nic's can you have your ps3 running through 1 and spoof that mac address?Or will your ps3's mac address still make it past the router?

Sony knows the MAC address's to every PS3 out there. So even if you can spoof it, they will know. And even if you change your IP address it will do that PS3 no good since the MAC is banned.

two thing one when is it comming out? i want to update thats why. and second is it gonna suport all games or only lan games cuz i love little big planet and that dosent have lan

I have logged on since i recieved the email, so they r probably waiting til a certain deadline or something, all i want to do is mod games offline, whats the harm in that? seriously! but im not removing anything. if i get banned then ill prolly just buy another ps3 to play with online or just wait til a way is found to get around the ban( which im not real sure about, it could happen, then again it might not, who knows.) i mean look how far the ps3 has came since it was hacked. But it did take quite a while for them smart ppl to do that, but atleast they know what they r looking at... If geohotz could get out of the trouble he is in, im sure the ps3 will b hacked forever with online capabilities. but for right now looks like the cfw is coming to an end for psn, as far as i know anyways.

I'm still on the fence about willingly getting banned.

What if a otheros/3.55cfw/3.56...ect OFW boot option becomes available
but you cant get online because you already got banned.
other side
May never come and you miss out on psn now.
