Yea well either way i have to try and exchange ps3's now, mine just shutoof in the middle of a game. and when i turned it back on it had one of those 8000... something something something errors and shut back off and now it wont come back on at all... so if i get to exchange it ill put cfw on it and NOT go online til i know its safe, but ill buy another ps3 to play online with ofw since i only mod offline anyways.

Haha, that just reminded me I have 2 years of warranty through walmart on my ps3 left.If i really wanted to I could just take it back say it stopped working.It'd be pointless though cause i'd just put cfw on it again.

yea pretty much but thats why im going to just buy a second one, it doesn't seem like many ppl are getting banned on xbox so i may buy a 360 too.

its only system id when i was banned i could use my account on my friends ps3 and yes you can change your ip and theres hombrew to change your system id

Thier sales have already dropped due to all the piracy, they don;t really have nothing to lose. Anyway, once you're console banned, that's it. You could take your console to the opposite side of the world and you'll still be banned, It's also irreversable.

I laugh how everyone tries to use the "they'll loose moneyz lolz" as the excuse to justify themselves and being in their little LaLa Land the truth is they already have your money what are they going to loose the sales you guys pirate the games? (not all of u pirate but just stating an example) so what you get banned and you guys are going over to xbox knowing what the consequences for hacking where? so your going over to xbox to Jtag and get caught faster and get banned faster? yea your the one loosing in the end by buying an xbox and start from scratch with a new console when you alrady have all your ps3 games good luck..

I switched from xbox to ps3 because Microsoft is a terrible company, in my eyes at least, even if I get banned I'm not ever going back to xbox.
