Anyone else had to accept there TOS again before you signed on again??

I wonder if after you accept this they start scanning ur ps3 and then if they find cfw ur ****ed after you accept, my best bet is if ur on 3.55 and see this TOS shit dont accept it and stay the **** offline!

I am seriously getting fed up with Sony.
I have been a Playstation fan since it was released.
Never played any other console apart from Playstation(ok, maybe one megadrive), and now I am seriously considering moving to xbox.
Not because I dislike PS3, but because Sony are treating their customers like shit.
Maybe xbox isn't better than PS3 , but it's a fresh start and a new challenge too.
I'm a hard bastard and out of principle I won't be made to accept everything those idiots want.
I paid big bucks for my PS3 and I would like to consider it mine.

I'm definitely not arguing your point here, so please don't think that, but have you ever thought that Sony could make the same argument? They pay big bucks to maintain the PSN and they consider it theirs, and are doing this to protect their investment? No one can force you to upgrade, and if you do decide to stay you just cannot use their online service any longer. Essentially you're getting what you paid for, except now you have an additional choice; homebrew or PSN.

Without all the Call of Duty hacks which got way out of control we wouldn't be here today. This is what alerted Sony, and it is because of these complaints that they are taking such action. They are protecting their product (as in, PSN).

Do I agree with it? No. But I do understand it.

I'm just not going to be made to agree and do everything they want and when they want.
Im not fussed about hacking or modified patches, I couldn't care less with homebrew or backed up games.
There is only a couple of games that I play anyway, everything else bores the shit out of me.

Thats why I love my iPhone.
It's jailbroken, it's on 4.1 and I update it if I want.
If I don't, it doesn't affect it in any way.
Sony should be the same, give you the option to update, if you choose not to update, it shouldnt affect your PS3 whatsoever, it should be our choice, not theirs.
If you don't want to update, fine, it's your choice, but you shouldn't remove PSN access because of it.
My 2 cents anyway.
