HACKED IT WITH GEOHOTS HACK.
BOUGHT A PSJAILBREAK2 (CLONE) AND E3 CARD READER
DOWNGRADED TO 3.41 MODIFIED WITH E3 CARD READER
THEN HACKED IT WITH PSJAIBLREAK2 CLONE BECUZ I COULD NOT DOWNGRADE ANY FURTHER TO OFW 3.15 TO UPDATE TO 3.41 OFW LIKE SITES SUGGESTED.
AND SINCE THE HACK WORKED ON THE MODIFIED 3.41 I HAD NO COMPALINTS.
PLAYED A COUPLE OF BACKUP GAMES FOR ABOUT A WEEK.
BUT NOW I WANT TO GO TO 3.55 OFW AND HACK IT TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF F$%$ PSN BYPASS AND GET ONLINE.

I GO INTO FACTORY/SERVICE MODE WITH E3 CARD READER AND USE OFW 3.15 BUT THE LIGHT KEEPS BLINKING GREEN FOR HOURS.

THAT IS MY PROBLEM, I CANT DOWNGRADE TO OFFICIAL SONY FIRMWARE FROM THE MODIFIED 3.41 SO THAT I CAN GET BACK UP TO OFW 3.55 AND HACK IT.

GOING INTO SECRET MENU AND TRYING EACH OF THE OPTIONS AVAILABLE:

RESTORING TO DEFAULTS
RESTORING FILE SYSTEM AND THE LIST GOES ON.
ANY IDEAS?

IM HOPING THE ADMINISTRATORS THAT KNOW THEIR SHIT CAN PUT THOSE BIG BRAINS TOGETHER AND REALLY THINK "WTF CAN BE GOING ON ON THIS DUDES PS3?"

i apologize, i got into the mode that shows the red square on it, i always get the words mixed up. my apologies. but yea , after i booted into factory/service mode with the red box/screen, i turned it off, unplugged it. put in a flash drive with official firmware like 3.15, then booted again, and let it do its thing, but it just stayed blinking green forever.

hey do i put the lv2diag file from FILE 1 with the 3.15 update file in the usb flash drive? or just the update file alone? m aybe thats what im doing wrong, maybe i need to just put the update file in the usb flash drive alone and not with the file from FILE 1.

LV2Diag from file one does go with the UPDAT.PUP on a normal USB in the USB port nearest to the Blu Ray player (furthest right) start up... This should work, if it still doesn't work quote me!

i tried it again right now.a nd the light just stayed blinking green. i used the 3.41 modified with the file from FILE 1, but if i get out of rec overy mode it asks me for 3.56 original firmware, but i use the modified 3.41 and it installs it. but then i go into factory/service mode again and try to downgrade to original firmware 3.15 and i still get the green light blinking forever. so yea.

Get on the 3.55 dns bypass. Then it will ask for 3.55 :d

wha?? sorry . ive heard of the dns bypass, but i cant get onto 3.55. are you suggesting while no my m odified 3.41 to try and use the dns bypass to get on the psn? and then it will ask me for 3.55? and then i can install 3.55 ofw?

hey gues what i did. when it asked me for 3.56 official, i put in the 3.41 modified so it thought it was 3.56, so it went though the loading up process, and then it changed to that screen where it asks you to push the ps button on the controller so it can start installing the firmwaer. well, i took out the usb flash drive and deleted the 3.41 modified firmware and replaced it with the 3.41 OFFICIAL, and it INSTALLED IT!!! HAHA!!! so now it has official 3.41 firmware, and now i hope i can install 3.55. wish me luck and pass this on to others if they get the green blinking light. peace out!!
