I have a question,
So I have heard that there is going to be an update that will ban your PS3 from psn if you have hacked. I jailbrocked my PS3 2 weeks ago and then I did the "safe way" which I think is to delete your history of using home brew applications using blackbox and deleted every homebrew application from my PS3 to not get banned. Then I updated to 3.55 OFW then i updated to 3.56 OFW, but I still kept the MW2, w@w, and cod4 patches. Also the black ops patch that just modz zombies. Well will I still be banned from psn if I keep this patches? or will I have to delete them and download the official ones so that I don't get banned from psn?

delete modded patches, thats what there going nuts about among other things

You mean like dead space mods for example?

This wouldn't work cause sony would never "silently" update your ps3 without your consent. Another reason why this wouldn't work is that you are only blocking the computer from updating. Which wouldn't make sense because the computer has no reason to update cause its not a ps3. Also, there should be no way notepad has the ability to actually block any internet hosted connections. Regardless, If you are making this sorry excuse of a tutorial based off reading the first two paragraphs in that guys thread about kakratos. Then you my friend must be the biggest noob to ever sign up to NGU :p

This method won't work you guys

What the hell, This wouldn't work unless they updated it threw windows.
Not sure but it MAY work with ethernet and shared connection.
