3.56 DOWNGRADE TO ANY FIRMWARE

Step 1. Back up everything on your console (Optional)
Step 2. FULLY Restore your PS3 (4-8 Hours)
Step 3. When asked to enter date and date, put PS3 in recovery mode
Step 4. Install a OFW firmware of your choice on System update in recovery mode.
Step 5. Your PS3 should be flashed with that OFW

I have no clue if it works, just put it up for the people with 3.56 to give it a shot.

I think this was tried with downgrading 3.41 back in the day and didnt work.
May work now though; would test it for you dude but on 3.55

Maybe I just wasn't dumb enough to update to 3.56? Did you just update right away just to play blackops which blows cock anyway? If your on 3.56 and you don't want to try downgrading methods then why are you on a hack forum?

no this does not work i just tested it you'll still be on 3.56 firmware for some reason it says the data is corrupted when u try any lower firmware. topic should be closed
