Ok, I dont claim to be a "hacker". I'm just an average PS3 user who has the ability to put some files on a USB stick and enjoy the fruit of all these guys' labor. Pretty much anyone who has an IQ higher than that of salad bar could do the same thing. But I gotta say that all the hate for Sony here is getting to the point of rediculousness. I dont hate Sony for banning me from PSN, I hate them for their overly unjustified and vulgar display of power in the last few weeks. As a community, we should stop referring to ourselves as "hackers" and start refering to ourselves as what we truly are: consumers who have been pushed too far. Lets come together and really make a statement to Sony and thier outdated ideas about intellectual property and the embedded software in thier devices. Its all fair game and should be treated as such. Just sayin.......

Why not? I bought the ps3, I own it. Its not sony's, its mine. I can do whatever I want to it. I can hack it up all I want. Sony is just being retarted because they think that doing all this will stop piracy. What it will actually do is build up the boycott against sony.
