I don't think you can put cheats on the VBA for the PS3. If you just want cheats for pokemon just download Visual Boy for the PC (Its a PC emulator). I'm not sure if the VBA has a file called .sav, but take the .sav from you PS3 to your usb and transfer it to your PC. Now load the ROM and Save file on the Visual boy, now just look up on the net for Action Replay cheats or codebreaker cheats for the pokemon game. Once you got everything you want ex. 99 masterballs. Transfer the gamesave back to the ps3 and when you load up your pokemon gamesave you should have the 99 masterballs. Hope I helped. Sorry if what I posted is useless since this is the way I use on my PSP, but I'm assuming its the samething with the PS3 as long as you have a .sav Savefile.

Ok got it to open the sav file in the vba on pc... but when i try to save it there it makes me an .smg file which ps3 emu doesnt read, and changing it like that doesnt work >.<

It shouldn't... because when I load up my gamesave it doesn't change the file to a .smg. It stays .sav, maybe your saving it wrong or something.

well im opening vba on pc and he loads the .sav file automaticly

if he doesnt i have to open it with import battery file.

Now when i want to save, i choose Save as and i can choose a directory, and when it saves its an smg file

Since the Save in game doesnt work on pc

Maybe its an different version or you changed options or so ?

Explain me a little how you going to save a file as .sav and which version you downloaded

Ok well when you save it click on file-->Save (Not save game). Exit out of the emulator and open up the folder. Make sure you know what folder you saved the game on. I save my game in the same folder the ROM is in. There should be a .smg file and a .sav file. All you need is the .sav file. Put that into your usb then transfer it to your ps3 and it should work.

Tip: If you don't get a .smg file or .sav file where you saved the game. You might be using a different emulator than I do. Here is a link to the emulator that I use.
