TuT: Getting external hard drive(NTFS) to work on multiMAN:

  2. Open USBDeview
  3. Find your external hard drive(needs to be plugged into computer), than find the vendor ID and product ID for that hard drive

  4. Open USB.CFG with Note Pad and put your vendor ID, and product: 0xVNISad Awesome0xPRISad AwesomeV (vendor ID, product ID, V=number of volumes), V is how many partitions you have on the drive. External hard drives are usually 1, unless you have set more

  5. Save the changes on USB.CFG, put the file into /dev_hdd0/game/BLES80608/USRDIR/ , copy and replace
  6. Open multiMAN and press START+You must login or register to view this content. to switch to NTFS driver

after you use USBDeview and change/save usb.cfg file put it on your usb go to multiman then hit L1
till you get to the directory screen then go to [/dev_hdd0/game/BLES80608/USRDIR]

(BLES80608=Multiman program)

then look for the usb.cfg file delete and replace it with the one that you made
then it will work! hope i helped Smile

when you hit start + triangle this will activate your external hdd then to view it go back to your directory screen and it will appear under ps3_home

Ah ok, I didn't put it in the USRDIR folder. I'll put it in there and see what happens
