I use Charles too. Would we need to replace our original CERT's if we were to stop using Charles and switch over to the spoof?

i'm using the first trick that was released :charles+ps3dns v3.2 and it still works to log in spoofing as 3.56 but i wanna change to spoof as 3.60 cause i have a bad feeling. i don't wanna use a different method since this worked perfect so far. so far i have tryied to modifiy the header as "X-Platform-Version 3.60" but i get a prompt to update when i do that so i figure that the ps3-updatelist.txt used by charles has to be modified to. i'm using the very first list that came with the first trick and it looks like this:

the thing i notice is that it seems to be an univesal list for all regions but also that systemsoftwareversion is 3.21 and not 3.56 so how did it work till now? also the CND= a phony url and not a sony update one.

Nope the spoof still works perfectly fine even with the modded certs.

Help!!! So today i made a pretty bad mistake. I decided to try out the 3.60 spoof. after i installed the pkg i went and installed the spoof and my ps3 crashed. I reset it and now it turns on but nothing comes up atall. not even a red screen to say its bricked. Its like someone has pulled the HDMI lead out iv made sure the leads are in propperly and also tryed scart lead incase it reverted back but still nothing. Has anyone came across this before?[/

go to recovery mode and install your cfw back on. it happen to me yesterday when i turned on my ps3 the screen was just black cause the 3.60 spoofer froze when installing
