well we have all of are hacks and the rebug thing is really cool. well i am going to stray away from the rebug topic. right now i have a friend who is going to update to 3.60 and is tired of never being online. and he asked me this question. "is it possible to integrate an FTP server into my ps3 that is
always broadcasting its name and you can always connect to it on 3.55 then you update to 3.60, and it is still broadcasting its name and you can always connect to it" my first response was yes, but it would be difficult. but then i had to focus on the part were he said on OFW. and i said i have no idea because i don't create nor do i have any knowledge about the firmwares. so i bring this idea to all of you. Is it possible to integrate a way for the ps3 to broadcast its name so that you can connect to it when ever you want and see all of its files even when you decide to update to 3.60 and still have it broadcasting? if this is possible then we should pursue this idea and create a working FTP that is always on.

If you're talking about mw2, you didn't even need cfw to "ruin" that game online :\
If I modded Crysis 2 (which I already have) my mods wouldn't work online anyway. You can't mod dev servers (legally)
You'd likely get banned.

Pr0n ftw
Sounds like is it possible to have ftp in ofw, no, because its not signed, and sony patched all media exploits a long time ago, in the first days ps3 got released
