ive removed the bluray drive completly but still no joy

need help fixing this

Yeah can you work out if it is working though right (the blueray)? I know this is the problem because I can remove my blueray drive and no homebrew works, or hdd games. I connect back, even though its broken the laser and it works again.

its plugged in fine all cables and wiring are right ill try a few times just to make sure

cant you just buy a new blue ray m8 and use that

No each board on the drive is specific to that console no other can be used.

my blueray responds when i press the eject button but nothing runs hombrew wise just a blank screen both with hdmi and composite

so its not my hdmi port thats ****ed

i just dont know what the problem is apart from it being smashed to a fukin tee

if it was a flash error the ps3 wudnt kick up at all or at least nothing would happen

the video at the top of this thread is from this morning and you can clearly see it works

well did they not come out with a way to remarry a blue ray to different ps3 i can go get the link am like 95% sure that this can be done

Yeah you made sure that ribbon on the board is in correctly and not the wrong end
