well i updated my cfw ps3 on accident when some fag put out a fake cfw that was 3.60 ofw.
but my friend has an old ps3 he said hell sell me for 50 bucks!
what i want to ask... its on software version 3.50 or 3.42 he said. he says hes not sure and hell check tomorrow.
but i get it to 3.55 by putting 3.55 ofw in a flash drive correct?
or can i not choose what version it goes to?

sorry about the lame video lol but as you've been told already yes you can update to any higher ps3 fw than the one yours in on... i recomend kmeaw i've tryed all the custom fw's and seems to be most reliable... unless you own an e3 card reader... then 3.41 ftw ! you can downgrade your ps3 from 3.50 down to any fw lower with the card reader.
