I have 4 PS3s and last night i just couldnt stand not playing BOPS anymore (my online PS3 is currently banned) so before i updated i stocked up on map packs and full PKGs on rebug, got them signed/ authorised/ activated.
Then i reinstalled 3.55 OFW then updated via internet to 3.60 -

Now, all games and map packs are working just fine. I havent deleted the rebug quick sign up account i used to purchase/ authorise games.
I suggest if youve got more then 1 PS3 and your GOING to update (im not saying you should) then by all means stock up before you do. If i get banned for whatever reason ill certainly let yous know but i seriously doubt it, so far so good for me.

ClutchLikeKobe has a great thread on how to setup for rebug, you can install it over any CFW like Waninikoko Wutangrza or Kmeaw. Just follow his tutorial and you wont have a problem bro.

i tried there way download from that home page opened in winrar then opened the extracted the pup file then went to update like in tut then doesn't work. thats why i asked him cause he did it already.

Hmm have you renamed the .pub to update.pub?
And put it in the Right Folder on USB?
And try it through the Restore Menu not he normal XMB?

yea i did do that. but still didn't work.

I admit i had the same problem getting it to read my USB from the system update via storage device, but putting your console into system restore mode should help with that problem.

Also a quick tip for anyone looking to purchase or authorise games/maps who are outside of the USA like myself. Download USA PKGs as UK PKGs dont work as the rebug quick sign up pre-generated account is American.
