it will never happen playing these games on 3.55 is as hard as finding a jailbreak for 3.60

Newer games (such as Portal 2) are encrypted with the 3.60 keys. Systems on older firmwares are unable to even read the game, except the part telling you that you need to update.

There's basically not going to be a way to play Portal 2 with a jailbreak until a 3.60 CFW comes out.

Its not a matter of checking the firmware, but its actually using encryption keys and 3.60 only "stuff". You also might not be able to play it even after you "hack" it to plan on 3.55 if we ever get to that point because it could use a higher SDK, thus some features would not be supported by the firmware that the game requires.

The only way would be to obtain a backup and change the param.sfo right?

Portal 2 has a very small eboot bin. Tried to dump it to look at the files. I think its using the latest SDK, meaning even if we manage to change the SFO using new keys there is no gaurantee it will respond properly.

a eboot fix and a DFENGINE.SPRX fix is needed...

i also used the patch for fighting with kratos!
