my setup is

modem/router ----- (s) ---network switch ------ps3

8-10 secs on cod waw, havent tried psn.

btw this all at once, not pressing it on and off.


its a foot switch, and ive followed the lag settings.

your setence doesnt make sense, do you mean post my network settings?

wired -> 10half duplex -> ip settings manual all correct -> mtu auto -> unup disabled (just put into dmz instead) -> mtu automatic (1500) -> proxy off

I'm guessing u tried 10full duplex

can i ask each time u test on psn your lag time. do u get less lag each time until ureset your router coz mine, i tested all dse diff settings one after another and i get less and less lag time,

first time - 55 secs
second - 48
third - 39
etc...

well after switching things around, ive found no difference really whereever i position my stuff

heres my findings, numbers mean time in seconds i got too lag in psn before it disconnected, tested twice for reliable results

i am but in game in cod i get crap lag time. and ive heard other people getting 15 seconds, which im starting to not believe

Well only thing left to tell you is it's your internet because slower internet=less lag better=betterlag

i get about 10 megabit speed on my internet.

but wen i do speed test on ps3 browser i get 5mb, i dno if its coz all dese stuff is before it like the switch router etc..

how can i increase my speed.

upload or download & your bad lag time may be do to COD4/5 If you try lagging on a different game you might get long time 15 seconds+
