my setup is

modem/router ----- (s) ---network switch ------ps3

8-10 secs on cod waw, havent tried psn.

btw this all at once, not pressing it on and off.


its a foot switch, and ive followed the lag settings.

Try putting network before lag switch move the network switch to all different locations

will do.

whats the best way to test lag time, on psn, or on certain games?

further update, when the switch is put first

soon as i hit the switch i get ethernet cable not connected.

Ok well keep moving it around (and that means the switch is giving you that extra lag)
and the best way to test is first psn then game because the time differs between the two

its either before or after.

Put it up with modem and stuff mess around there too

tried it no diff, elmotat claims he gets 25 secs of lag on cod waw, i have near enough the same setup as him and i get less than 1/2 of what he gets of lag time.

also each time i test on psn, i get signed out quicker than the try before.
