(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); i was thinking that if you could run a side channel cache attack on the ps3 you could possibly obtain the public and private keys for the ps3

you would probably need the linux though on the ps3 but maybe some people who have rebug could try this out

also if you had a cable to plug into the ps3 to connect to youre computer you could then possibly run a side channel cache attack that way

The following user groaned racecar12 for this awful post:

Top Down Siad Barre
But you want the firmware keys (public/private - AES is symmetric!) and they are ECDSA Keys.

I have a idea

 Wondering if it is possible to take a 3.55 cfw ps3 and decrypt the hdd, take another hdd this time official 3.60 fw and decrypt that with the "ps3 hdd tool". Then possibly install linux using the new method (dual boot method) onto the decrypted official 3.60 fw whis could give us a working envoiroment to be able to dump the ps3 and code evrything on the ps3 in its own envoiroment, and also give us the keys? Or should I say our individual console key?
Would this be possible or just another idea?

Hey Mod! Could you delete this please? I meant to start a new thread.
