(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I don't know why there isn't a tutorial on this shit.

I've got multiman, the latest, and I'm on 3.55....

I wanna download some games, such as Assassins Creed....

I don't OWN it, rightfully. :carling:

Can I just download it, and put it on my USB flash, and install it via Multiman without using this FTP shit?

I REFUSE to use FTP...it's wack. Are there specific folders I need to make, or wtf?

Once again, I don't know WHY there isn't a tutorial on this. If there isn't, I suggest making one, and I'll praise you. :megusta:

It's exactly the same to using FTP except you use File Manager on your PS3 as opposed to Blackb0x or OpenPS3FTP.

The only downsides to not using FTP are that-
a) Your USB stick must be formatted in FAT32 format meaning you cannot copy games with individual files over 4GB(Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare is an example).
b) It takes much longer copying stuff to a USB stick than simply transferring data wirelessly or via ethernet cable & router.
c) It's an inconvenience in general.

You just download a game and put it in a folder called either GAMES or GAMEZ and Multiman will be able to read it fine.

Alright then I'll use FTP. How....how do I use FTP? I have Blackbox installed. I just strayed from it, because I have nooooo clue how to run it, and copy games from it. I'll Google some more, but you might be the first to create a tutorial on how to use it. =)

Actually....the easiest TUT on how to download games, and upload them to your 3.55 CFW using Blackbox. Be the first one to make it. Google isn't showing me ANYONE who's made one. IN depth tut, for example; downloading the game from ps3iso.com and then sending it to your filezilla, etc. Would be good. NGU needs it. I'm a bit lost now....any help would be awesome.

First off you need an FTP program on your computer.. I suggest filezilla - You must login or register to view this content.

Then start up blackbox on your PS3 making sure your PC and PS3 are connected on the same network, if you can't do that then just have the PS3 and PC/Laptop whatever connected with an ethernet cable and if done correctly on blackbox it should have an IP on the screen, put that in Filezilla then connect to it...

Then you'll have access to the PS3 HDD, go to the folder multiman uses for games then just FTP the game into that folder.

This is a much faster way to use FTP its how i transfer big files very quickly up to 100 mb/s speeds. Winky Winky

Go to internet setup on your PS3, click wired connection and manually enter the ip settings.

10.1.1.1 for the IP address
255.255.255.0 for the subnet mask
10.1.1.1 for the default gateway
10.1.1.1 for the DNS

Then on your PC, go to Local Area Connection and ipv4, click properties and then change your ip to static and input

10.1.1.2 for the IP address
255.255.255.0 for the subnet mask
10.1.1.1 for the default gateway
10.1.1.1 for the DNS

Go to the FTP application on your PS3, and click start.

Then go on your PC, use filezilla

10.1.1.1 as the connection port 21 blah blah blah you know the drill.

Where can I go to download games? Piratebay is being gay, and taking WAY too long. I seen ps3iso.com but the files there...I don't know wtf to do with all of them. Is there a place I can go to to download games in one big file? Preferably Red Dead Redemption.

Try kickass torrents. Failing that just type "red dead redemption torrent" in Google and pick the one with the most seeds and least leeches. Should download quicker then.

The just unRAR it, and FTP it over?
I was trying to download Black Ops earlier using uTorrent and piratebay, and it was going to take over a day. Had it downloading for over an hour, and it was still around 50KB/s so NO. **** piratebay for games.
