(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I don't know why there isn't a tutorial on this shit.

I've got multiman, the latest, and I'm on 3.55....

I wanna download some games, such as Assassins Creed....

I don't OWN it, rightfully. :carling:

Can I just download it, and put it on my USB flash, and install it via Multiman without using this FTP shit?

I REFUSE to use FTP...it's wack. Are there specific folders I need to make, or wtf?

Once again, I don't know WHY there isn't a tutorial on this. If there isn't, I suggest making one, and I'll praise you. :megusta:

I was trying to download Black Ops earlier using uTorrent and piratebay, and it was going to take over a day. Had it downloading for over an hour, and it was still around 50KB/s so NO. **** piratebay for games.

Yep, just unrar it, highlight all the files and click extract. Yeah you can use ftp, i have an external so i just copy it to there, placing the files in a folder called GAMES. haven't you got a hard drive somewhere, even if its just to borrow, then use multimans file manager and copy from the external to the internal. Oh yeah, delete the folder that says update when you've finished downloading it, you don't need it, it'll be quicker copying across and it'll save valuable hard drive space.

Thanks. kickasstorrents had a BLES one, not a USA one, so **** it. I downloaded another software to help uTorrent download quicker, and so far, so good. I'll probably use my flash drive, and install it that way. Put it in on a folder called GAMES, plug it in to my PS3, and Multiman will recognize it?

Yeah, just put the BLES folder into games and multiman will recognise it. If you're copying it across to your internal hard drive, it doesn't matter where you put it as long as you can find it using the file manager on multiman. I used to use utorrent, but now i use vuse, i think its slightly better.

If you want quick speed, register with bitsoup (google it)

Ive always had my max speed downloading when using torrents from them Smile

But yes there is a catch.. you a meant to seed and upload as much as u download. so for the people that dislike sharing then its not for you Smile

Well possibly not, but it does make torrents work.

I defeated!
ps3iso.org is the best very good speed by megaupload. Around 6minutes for 1gb part.

It's exactly the same to using FTP except you use File Manager on your PS3 as opposed to Blackb0x or OpenPS3FTP.

The only downsides to not using FTP are that-
a) Your USB stick must be formatted in FAT32 format meaning you cannot copy games with individual files over 4GB(Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare is an example).
b) It takes much longer copying stuff to a USB stick than simply transferring data wirelessly or via ethernet cable & router.
c) It's an inconvenience in general.

yeah, what this guy said :fa:
