in ps3 go to network settings and use custom settings choose wired connection do not test the connection after you finished insted go to system settings system information you will see a private ip looks like this 169.254.xxx.xxx use this ip for ps3 ftpserver to transfer your games or videos with this method you will get a staggering speed of 33mb!!! :y:

your tutorial is good but you only get 11mb compared to mine 33mb.

I waited your right private network ip shows up but it dont connect

i use flashfxp to connect to ps3 did you have any luck ?

I only get around 8 mb :S I think your internet speed is a big factor to your speed

this is old news it was done like this from the beginning of transfering shit, even setup liked this to use xlink kai

too much work. this is simpler.

ive had upto 19mbps on the otherway

with direct connection to your pc im guessing that u want to do it to transfer games to a jailbroken console

the speed you get is not the speed of your internet

its the speed at which your computer can ran at maximum

i get around 11mb/s transfering games

my pc is as follows

windows 7 pro

processor- intel 2.20ghz dual core
4gb ram
64 bit operating system
