in ps3 go to network settings and use custom settings choose wired connection do not test the connection after you finished insted go to system settings system information you will see a private ip looks like this 169.254.xxx.xxx use this ip for ps3 ftpserver to transfer your games or videos with this method you will get a staggering speed of 33mb!!! :y:

Thanks but the only problem with that(seeing from your sig) is that IS your speed anyway LoL, and when i do it I have a 2MB connection coz that is my speed :p

its got nothing to do with my internet speed this method only cable wire try it and see.

you need to wait for the ip to show up dont take long.
