Gitbrew just announced a tool that will allow you to QA Flag your PS3 in the most simplest way possible. What is QA Flag you ask? QA Flag is the internal console flag used by Sony, it basically enables you to view/use hidden option which are only accessible to QA centers and the R&

OtherOS++ 3.41 CFW PUP
(this fw can be created in PS3mfw with patches from the git repos)

|Instruction|
1) Download the Otheros++ .pup from above
2) Install that on your PS3
3)Once Otheros++ is installed, Run qa_flag.pkg if you hear a beep, it worked.
*If not, dump your debug messages via udp_printf on linux and send toYou must login or register to view this content. to fix.
4)Reboot the ps3
5)Go to network settings (Do not enter it) and hit or hold
L1+L2+L3+R1+R2+down on the dpad
6)QA auto flagging is now done
7)Turn on the 'system update debug' in the debug settings
8 )Do a system update back to your CFW i.e. Kmeaw, GeoHot, Waninkoko, etc

Because i thought the real advantage / purpose of QA flagging was that it was 'unstoppable' meaning you'd always have 'legal backups' and the newest firmware so you'd be online too.

wish it was that easy bud but this qa flag not the full qa flag yet wait a few days and we will see what happens with this qa flag

No we can´t play newer games at the moment i heard that Daemon tried to play Portal 2 and it gives him an error at least its not asking for update anymore. And the combo changed when Math released his video on youtube that´s why sony changed on firmware 3.56+ but i think there´s something harder than just find the new combo and active the Qa Flag Finally need to active advanced mode to get more things like online etc...

I don't think it asks for the update if you change the PARAM.SFO (or let multiman do it). I tried dungeon siege III and it just gave me the error when I let multiman change the .sfo. When I tried it with the original PARAM.SFO, it prompted me for the update. So I don't think the update, or lack thereof, is associated with qa flagging. Could be wrong though.

ya i tryed them but no look keep getting error lol but the update came up once but then i change something but still got a error am just hoping now that in the next few days a dev will tell people how to run the new games with 3.60 keys

Did you read the thread? you got to be on the OtherOS++ CFW then run the .pkg and it should beep. after that do the button combo. then after the debug options come up enable them then go BACK to kneaw, geohots, waninkokos,etc.
