Gitbrew just announced a tool that will allow you to QA Flag your PS3 in the most simplest way possible. What is QA Flag you ask? QA Flag is the internal console flag used by Sony, it basically enables you to view/use hidden option which are only accessible to QA centers and the R&

|Requirements|
PS3 on You must login or register to view this content.
OtherOS++ 3.41 CFW PUP
(this fw can be created in PS3mfw with patches from the git repos)

|Instruction|
1) Download the Otheros++ .pup from above
2) Install that on your PS3
3)Once Otheros++ is installed, Run qa_flag.pkg if you hear a beep, it worked.
*If not, dump your debug messages via udp_printf on linux and send toYou must login or register to view this content. to fix.
4)Reboot the ps3
5)Go to network settings (Do not enter it) and hit or hold
L1+L2+L3+R1+R2+down on the dpad
6)QA auto flagging is now done
7)Turn on the 'system update debug' in the debug settings
8 )Do a system update back to your CFW i.e. Kmeaw, GeoHot, Waninkoko, etc

, yea they basically said that if you wiped your game licences i.e your licences to play your psn games and dlc that it was your fault that they can't be played anymore, I just told them there was no warnings by them and that it's not difficult to release something anonymously to play psn/dlc.

Lol ahh... yes I'm secretly stalking you =P. Hopefully some dev releases something that enables the piracy part of it. I'm guessing that gitbrew won't release something like that because they "don't condone piracy".

Yea that's what I'm hoping for too =D I mean if your going to give us QA flagging you might as well give us it's full abilities. Like they said it's easy to do.........

Yeah, but it's fair enough that they're covering their ass. Just hopefully another dev will be smart about it and release it anonymously. Just a matter of time now.
