2. Download WinZip You must login or register to view this content. install
3. Download the VRPPATCH.ZIP You must login or register to view this content.
4. Download d3dx9_42.dll file - You must login or register to view this content.
5.Open both the VRPPATCH.ZIP and the d3dx9_42.zip and move d3dx9_42.dll file into the VRPPATCH.ZIP folder
6. Open you the Remote play Directory by Start Menu, Computer, Program Files, Sony, Remote Play with Playstation 3
7. Move all the Files from the VRPPATCH.ZIP including the d3dx9_42.dll into the Remote Play directory.
8. Reboot your computer and Run the Remote Play with Playstation 3
IF THIS DOES NOT WORK PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP!

nope as you can only see your ps3 one 1 screen and your pc/laptop does not allow you to play games whilst on remote play..

1. have you already connected to it and then tried again?.. if so try deleting (execute) your ps3 from the remote play via the settings and re-register your playstaion 3 and it should work then

yes, i did. i copied the DLL into "C: \Program Files\Sony\Remote Play with PlayStation 3" and extracted the ZIP into the same location. then i made sure my PS3's conection settings were correct and then entered the "remote play" tab under "settings" to register my Dell Laptop as a device, the registration goes perfectly, the PS3 is detected by the computer, and vice-versa. but then when i click connect on the PC after the registration is complete, no connection can be made. i ran the registration process again, and i still could not connect afterwards.

Could i get some help? Everything works fine up until after I register, i cant connect my laptop to my ps3. I have remote start on, but for some reason it just wont connect. My laptop can be wireless or plugged into ethernet to my router, and same with my ps3.

1.Did you install it and then registered it for the first time, exited it and went back on the program later?
2. try reinstalling the program..
3.. if you did do no1 go to the settings menu on the remote play, devices, execute.. and re-register and it would work fine then...
