(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); ok i do everything correct and when i check for the update thing or whatever i get data is corrupt. alot of people was getting this. so i double checked the bottom of my ps3 to make sure i got the right date and it was DATE CODE:8C which is correct. so if anyone knows why im getting data courrpt or is having the same problem post. it would really help if someone could make a vid of you acually doing it your self or have found a vid tut. Thanks for reading.

you do not have the correct date code. yours needs to be 8A

wrong, read this, i got it from the guys post.
see alot of people making new threads asking if their PS3 was made before the 17th of February 2009. Some of you aren't even looking at the right thing. In the middle of the PS3 there is a code. A number and a letter, like this: 9C. If your PS3 is made before 9A then you are good to go. I'm going to make a list if some of you still don't get it.
