(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); ok i do everything correct and when i check for the update thing or whatever i get data is corrupt. alot of people was getting this. so i double checked the bottom of my ps3 to make sure i got the right date and it was DATE CODE:8C which is correct. so if anyone knows why im getting data courrpt or is having the same problem post. it would really help if someone could make a vid of you acually doing it your self or have found a vid tut. Thanks for reading.

under the ps3 console where you usallly see the barcode at etc then you should see a date code and a white little square like this:
Date Code [8C]
peoples date codes are differnt

mines says manufactured in august 2008 but no date code

well than you can give this a shot

The downgrade method has not been proven as of now, think, if this was real, then why isn't their a video of it? plus look at other comments on those threads, saying it's all written up wrong, etc. Trust me don't use/do this method... I don't trust just a wall of text, without their being propper proof. I.E pics,vids.etc

show me your pics or video proof of YOU doing then i will believe no proof i personally tried it 4 times!!! and i keep getting data corrupted
