-My jailbroken slim 250gb that i bought new with 3.55geohot has a broken blu ray drive

1. Your PS3 will be running FW Rebug 3.55 and you will enjoy all preveliges and benefits thereunto apertaining.

2. ACTIVATE/DEACTIVATE:
Press L1+CROSS to ACTIVATE/DEACTIVATE (System will reboot)

UNINSTALL:
Press L1+CIRCLE to UNINSTALL (this will deactivate the spoofer, remove the spoof files from dev_flash and reboot if needed)

Alternately, you can format your PS3 in the recovery menu, see below.

3. Delete the spoof first. Enter the recovery menu:

Make sure the PS3 is turned off
Press and hold the power button on the PS3 it will power on then power off.
When it's off press and hold the power button again until you hear two consecutive beeps. When you hear the double beeps immediately take your finger off the power button (if your system turns off before you get a double beep just try again and hold the button, it should double beep the 2nd time you try)
It will ask for the controller to be connected via the USB cable,
Turn on the controller and you will have access to the menu.

You will have the following options

Restart System: Restarts the PLAYSTATION®3 System.
Restore Default Settings: Reset all system settings back to default.
Restore File System: Checks for corrupt/missing system files.
Rebuild Database: Rebuilds the OS for the PLAYSTATION®3.
Restore PS3 System: Fresh restore; Deletes everything and starts from Scratch. <--Select this to remove spoofer
System Update: Update the PLAYSTATION®3 System <--Select this to update to OFW 3.55 from your USB drive

Find the Correct OFW 3.55 update .pup and place it in the PS3>UPDATE folder of your USB.
