I don't get why we don't all rise up and fight Sony about firmware updates?
This cannot continue. These are supposed to be game consoles, we shouldn't have to jump through hoops just to have our right to do as we please.
Can't play the latest games unless we update, can't go online etc.. all a bunch of bullsh*t...

Vault dweller
As a PS3 fat user, what would one of you recommend? I was thinking highly of the E3 one, but it requires soldering and I've done a bit of searching on a manual to see how difficult it would be but had no luck. I have a soldering gun, but it's pretty massive.... Anyway. Help would be greatly appreciated!

Confidence starts in your mind
The "E3 Flasher" claims to need no soldering, that's bullshit. This flasher will need soldering, and allot of time, to really take everything off you're ps3, solder it, and then put it back on.
This will not only take allot of time, but they lia aswell, about "NO SOLDERING" ... :\
