The E3 flasher will downgrade FW 3.72 to 3.55. You will need 2 hard drives to have the dual-boot feature. As for the soldering, there is no need to solder if you have a slim PS3. The fat PS3 will require some soldering. The shipping date for the E3 Flasher will be October 11, 2011. You get everything in the Limited Edition package, including a Sata Station for dual-booting. The total price is $89. Only 3000 units being made available!!!! :O

OK,
I have trawled through forums, and unfortuantely half the time find nothing but flaming, but what I am trying to work out is as things stand.......how to downgrade!!
I know there is no way for FW's above 3.55 other than getting my hands dirty and opening up the console.
I have a few consoles I wish to do, the NAND versions look like they are currently possible without any soldering using a 360-clip.com clip and infectious:-

I guess you could easily do the above method using Progskeet as the programmer instead of infectious, but have not tried either yet!!
Now, NOR versions......? I am sure I saw a solderless method for NOR versions, but can I find it now? No!! Can someone point me in the right direction, or is it a case of waiting till 360-clip.com bring out the 56 pin NOR clip?
I am looking to buy the correct hardware to do the jobs I want to do, and dont want to waste money on the wrong things........which I have done so many times before due to not researching!!
Any help would be great.
