Now thanks to some clever PS3 'developers' out there, you can now patch this app, and use it on any PC running Windows 7, not just the costly 'Sony Vaio' line of products.

If you don't own a Sony Vaio, you can now use your PC to do Remote Play with your PS3.

Here are some of the games that work:
Aqua Vita/Aquatopia (PSN game)
Anarchy: Rush Hour (PSN game)
Bejeweled 2 (PSN game/demo)
Bionic Commando Rearmed (PSN game/demo)
BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger (BD game)
FirstPlay (PSN software)
Gundemonium Recollection (PSN game)
High Stakes on the Vegas Strip: Poker Edition (PSN game)
Imabikisou (BD game/PSN demo)
Lair (BD game)
LEGO Batman (BD game)
Life with PlayStation (PSN software)
Mainichi Issho (PSN game)
Misato Katsuragi’s Reporting Plan (PSN game)
Peggle (PSN game)
Peggle Nights (PSN game add-on)
PixelJunk Eden (PSN game/demo)
PixelJunk Monsters (PSN game/demo)

If you have a SFO editor you can enable Remote Play for other games as well.

To do this you need to download Sony's Remote Play app (Suggest you grab them before Sony pulls them and patchs them so stop this!)

Version: 1.0.2.06210 You must login or register to view this content.
Version: 1.1.0.15070 You must login or register to view this content.

After that you download the patch for the version you downloaded above:

Version 1.0.2.06210 You must login or register to view this content.
Version 1.0.1.15070 You must login or register to view this content.

The next step is to use the patch/Loader you downloaded above to modify the program following these steps

First copy the rmp_launcher.exe and the rmp_dll.dll to the "Remote Play with Playstation 3" file, then run the rmp_launcher.exe and follow the steps.

You may Smile
and one reason may be that you dont have an HDPVR and want to record gameplay footage on some games.

aah,I got an hdpvr, but will we be able to controll? (Shoot and move) on the pc, but it is an little delay right? and what about mac users?

I dno about mac's. Maybe there will be something for them soon. However this may get patched soon by SONY...
