Erm what firmware? And have your tried BD-Mirror from MultiMan?

That might be your issue (on multiple games :p ). Go to the New Vegas icon on MultiMan and hit triangle then you will see the little dots that are the settings on the bottom left. Highlight and select the BD Mirror option then play the game. This uses an alternate external boot method. If you want to see what games need this and whatever you can go here

I always go look before I dl a game.
If you are booting it internally I have no idea. The BD-Mirror only has an effect on external booting. Try getting an update (prior to 1.6 obviously) then try.

The game is 9.5GBs, I only have a 8GB flashdrive, any other ways you can think of to get it to work?

You probably need the file permissions.pkg. I know it's on PS3 dashhacks somewhere. I used to get the same problem when using PC mods on FO3 & NV,

I downloaded that and installed it and went on it. When I start up the game, it installs the game data all the way to 93% then the screen goes black and it freezes. It says it works on 3.41, I don't see why it wouldn't work on 3.55. :frown:
