My Red Dead Redemption was doing the exact same thing last night and I see what you mean. I'm not totally sure what I did to fix it. You can try going into MultiMan, hitting triangle over it, DESELECT any of the little circles at the bottom left, then hit fix permissions over on the right side, then try to load it up twice in a row. I think that's how I fixed mine. Never had this problem before updating to mmCM 4.03.00..
Anyway try that then downgrade your MultiMan to 4.02 something.

i own a True Blue dongle and ps3 freezes with Rebug CFW (in my experience) so sadly cant use that along side the online spoofer

ya man i knew that bt it doesnt work for the true blue CFW heard of people getting red screen of death and shit... >< too much hassle just for online play when you can just use your retail ps3 to play
