Q: It doesn't work!
A: After you have saved the options, try hard-rebooting your PS3. It should work afterwards.
(make sure you have replaced CA27.cert)

Some people might not want to go through all the work of getting FPSN to be routed from their computer, so, here is another way:
1) Boot your PS3 up!
2) Make sure you have replaced CA27.cer with the latest one for FckPSN - many tutorials can be found for doing this on the net. Go have a quick look.

4) Go ahead, and test connection - voila! If you've done it right, it should be fine and working.
Note: You're done! However, you may need to hard-reboot your console (power plug), and then try to connect to PSN again if it doesn't work first time. If it doesn't work after that, drop a comment and I'll try fix the problem. Normally repeatedly restarting your PS3 will fix any problems.

replace the cer27 with the cer27 given with the fuck psn the out dated one then enter dns settings use the dns setting and the boom you can sign in its madness
btw this is just how i did soo yeah its not a tut or anything xD

Thanks, I've been reading the tuts very carefully as I try doing it for the first time. I really don't want to mess anything up. The only thing I'm worried about now is if I need to install a 4.25 spoofer because it doesnt link to one in the Founder Hawks tut. Are you using a spoofer as well?

It only requires you to replace cer27 - if you can't be bothered to do that, then... wow.
But yes, it does require you to replace cer27 via dev_blind using ftp.

yes i am using a spoofer but tbh it wont matter in terms of getting onilne only if you want to run certain games...
