Not so sure they can fix this with software this time. There were a few rumors that Geohotz's was unpatchable, but that got discredited quickly by other big name devs. These same big name devs all seem to agree that LV0 is the source and cannot be patch with software. New hardware will protect new systems. I'm anxious to see how Sony responds to this.

Either way sony will do nothing about this. Nobody now-a-days can make it into a custom firmware installable from the latest update. Geo-hot was the smartest dev around and everyone else just claimed credit on his works.
