Hi guys, its sk8erlewis and today i'm gonna be teaching you what a spoofer is and does and how you can install one onto your jailbroken ps3.
To install a spoofer onto your ps3 needs to be jailbroken on 3.55 firmware, if its not you cant install one.
One thing a spoofer does is tricks your ps3 into thinking that its on a higher firmware that it actually is and this allows you to data transfer to and from a ps3 that's on a higher firmware than 3.55.
As you can see my jailbroken ps3 is on 3.55 firmware, now when i install a spoofer it says its on 4.31 firmware when its actually still on 3.55.
When your on 3.55 firmware and you try to data transfer to a ps3 that's on a higher firmware like 4.31 you'll get this message telling you to update your ps3.
but when you use a spoofer it tricks your ps3 into thinking that its on that higher firmware so it doesn't ask you to update allowing you to data transfer.
The other thing that most spoofers do is allows you to go online on your 3.55 ps3.
When you don't have a spoofer installed and try to go online you'll get this message telling you to update. but when you install a spoofer it allows you to go online without updating so you can stay on 3.55 firmware.

1. In the description i'll leave the links to some spoofers that you can download. Just download the one for the firmware you have installed.
I'm gonna be using SEN Enabler and Disabler for my ps3 that's on KMEAW Custom Firmware.
As you can see i got this from Next Gen Update. There are always lots of new home brew apps that you can find on next gen update, so you should sign up to the site.
When a new system update comes out that's higher than 4.31 your gonna need a new spoofer that works for that update.
On Next Gen Update there are always new spoofer's that you can find after any update so just look on there.

2. To install this spoofer onto your jailbroken ps3 just put the Package file that you've downloaded onto the root of your usb then plug it into your jailbroken ps3.
One thing i forgot to say in episode 2 was that you can rename these package files to anything you want to make them easier to find.

3. Then just go to install package files, find the spoofer and click X to install it.

4. Once it's installed just find it and start it up.

5. Now a message will come up saying Don't interrupt this program until the fix or unfix operation is complete and do you want to continue, yes and no. Just click yes.

6. Then it will ask you if you want to enable the fix of the dev flash files and if you have already installed a spoofer and want to remove it click no and then click yes on disable the fix of the dev flash files. but if you want to install the spoofer click yes on enable the fix of dev flash files.
After you've waited a bit, then you'll get this message which says that the Files have been fixed successfully and that your ps3 is gonna restart

7. just click circle to get rid of the message and your ps3 will restart.
Once your ps3 has restarted the spoofer will be installed.
Now if you go to system settings and then system information your ps3 will think that its on 4.31 firmware when it's actually still on 3.55.
Now you will be able sign in on your jailbroken ps3 and data transfer to and from a 4.31 ps3.
Always remember to sign out before you use any home brew app or your ps3 will get banned from psn.
