I for one learned something and appreciated the posts.
Op obviously was mistaken but had good intentions.

i didnt intentionally try to connect to those servers, i converted to DEX and tried to sign up/in after history wipe and i got account/console banned instantly. that is why i had the impression that dex would ban you but i have done alot of research since then and realize i didnt spoof my EID or console id. i wouldnt say this thread is useless, i simply posted what happened to me with hopes of possibly getting some assistance or having someone help me correct the way to set it up so i can go online. it seem alot of other users have gotten there DEX consoles back online after being banned and im just looking to find out how they did that. if you have any advice im all ears

ok so i would swap to my CEX target ID and then run the spoofer, right? i set np server. i just wanna make sure i have the correct process to go online

you should spoof before you change target id as when u run the spoofer itll reboot the ps3 and remove the changed target id, depending if you are on an unban console if not then yes you will need to spoof target id else you will get an error when signing in if you have a ban ps3 and are using a console id from a cex ps3 with an unbanning homebrew (ps_unban or psid patcher) then you will not need to change the target id as it is already has a cex target id

Did you switch to REBUG 4.21.2 or still on the one you had originally?
Highly recommend you switch to REBUG 4.21.2
Before you do you would need to switch back to cex before converting to avoid issues unless you know what your doing.
I am never tried switching from a firmware in dex to another well still in dex but seen people have issues.
But in general i try to convert back to as close to baseline before i switch firmwares.

Nothing wrong with what x-riggs_tq1 is suggesting you to make what you have work but REBUG 4.21.2 is what most people are using.

ok but after i spoof should i run history wiper or psninja to hide running the unban homebrew? or would that just turn all my id's back to normal?

yep i swapped to rebug 4.21.2 to simplify things. i was only in ida to attemp the unbanner they had for there FW

ive never removed psidpatcher, i use multiman it automatically cleans all logs and also id reccomend deleting your account after every use as if they ban your system and your acc is on it well youve already found out...
