Post: How To: Go To A Previous Patch
03-03-2013, 02:46 AM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I am quite certain that most people are on the newest 1.07 Patch for Black Ops II.

And as we all know, that some of our most beloved glitches have been patched, such as the Prestige Glitch.

But I have (re)found a way to cheat the system, and it cannot be patched! And it will allow you to do this Prestige Glitch.

Let's go!

(Click on pictures for larger version)

1. Download and install PS3 ProxyServer GUI:
Extended: You must login or register to view this content.

Original: You must login or register to view this content.

Note: To use the Extended Version, you need to have the Original Version Installed in the same Directory. The directory is the folder where the "PS3ProxyServerEX.exe" file is.

You will need to install .Net Framework 1.1:
You must login or register to view this content.

If you get the error: "The Procedure* Could not be located in the DLL MSVBVM50.DLL." then download the .dll and place it where you installed the program:
You must login or register to view this content.

2. Start up Proxy Server. It should look like this:

3. Now click the Start Button:

4. In the "Search Programs and Files" Bar, type in "Run" (Without Quotes)

5. You should get this:

6. Now type in "cmd" (Without Quotes):

7. You should see this:

8. Type in "ipconfig" (Without Quotes)

9. Go to where it says "Local Area Connection." It may or may not say "Ethernet Adapter." See where it says "IPv4 Address?" Copy that down.

10. Go back to the Proxy. Remember that IP we copied from before? Type that where it says "IP Address." Check "PS3 Mode"

Now here it is mostly all text based, as I cannot copy pictures from the ps3.

11. Go to your PS3. Go to "Network Settings"

12. Go to "Internet Connection Settings.

13. I am assuming you have your Internet set up. If not, set it up. If/When you do, select "custom," and keep clicking the right D-Pad until you hit "Proxy Server." In that field, type in the IPv4 Address from your computer. Leave the port as "8080."

14. Test connection.

15. If it succeeds, good! If not, make sure you turned the proxy on.

16. After the connection test is successful, sign into PSN.

17. Go to PSN Store.

18. Try to download anything over 61 Mega Bytes. It does not matter what.

19. Download in background, exit PSN Store, and then pause the download.

20. Return to PS3 Proxy Server.

21. Go to the "Logs" tab.

22. In the logs, you should see a bunch of links. This is good. Look for anything that begins with "https://zeus.dl.playstation.net"

23. This is your PSN download. Copy this link.

24. Go to "Replace Files"

25. Click "Add"

26. In the left field, past the link you just copied:

27. In the right, the 1.04 Patch I will provide. **Note:You must download this to your Computer!**
You must login or register to view this content..

28. It should look similar to this (Directory will vary):

29. Go back to your PS3.

30. Go to "Game Data"

31. Find your Black Ops II Patch and delete it.

32. Resume your paused download.

33. If you see the speeds increase tenfold that means you did it right.

34. Wait until it is done downloading.

35. Install it.

36. Download Elite Mossy's Patch Blocker
You must login or register to view this content.

37. Pause PS3 Proxy GUI.

38. Open the Patch Blocker.

39. Type in your IPv4 Address.

40. Press "Start Blocking"

41. Restart PS3.

42. You may now log into the Black Ops II servers!

You will not be able to play with any of a different patch, however. This is only useful if you wish to do patched glitches.

I may or may not have found this first. I came up with this using my own head.

They will not, for everyone else is on a different patch then you, so you cannot connect to them. This is only useful for doing patched glitches.

a lots of things we can do with it like map pack or (cod4>cod5<cod6) patches :p

Map packs need ReactPSN, which you need CFW for. You can only install Demos and patches with this (that I know of).

Looks like you found a sort of ftp for non jailbreaks, nice. I bet there's a way to sort of host a file link and it will install say a modded patch, i have no need as I'm jailbroken but great work!

I do believe you can install modded patches, but to install homebrew you need CFW, for you cannot run unsigned code on PS3's running OFW.

Strange, all download fine for me.

If they still do not download, do a simple google search. You can find these files very easily.

To install a modded patch all you need to do is download it and follow the steps in the tutorial.

Same with Map Packs/Full PSN Games, but you need ReactPSN (For most).
