Well anyways I called playstation up an here's how you can unbann your console on OFW or CFW:

Call up Sony: 1 (877) 971-7669
Tell them you just bought a ps3 off ebay two weeks ago and recieved it today. When you try to create an account it says this console has been banned or temporarily suspended. Ask them why and what you can do. Seem like super mad at the people who you bought it from and just role play like you actually did. Then they will say call back this day and this time and we will help you. They also say you need a proof of purchase. That's easy. Create a fake ebay listing for a ps3 for 99 cents and pay yourself. Then you will have proof of purchase. Make sure you make it believable. In the description put like a perfect ps3 used with a game and controller. All cords.

Then click but now and pay the dollar to yourself. Now get the proof of purchase receipt and you golden pony boy.

I just did this worked like a charm.. Hope you have the same results!

The problem with this, is once you get it unbanned, Sony will recognize your console as a 3.55 system. If you call, and say, 'Hey, I was ripped off', and once they unban it, they'll be able to see what firmware it's on, and then get mad at you. Then ban it forever. The only way this will work is by updating your system. And who the fuck wants to update their system?

I tried this once before years ago when my system got banned, and they said there was nothing they could do.. but worth a shot I suppose.

hmmm...no, you could install 3.55 ofw and would be legal again for sony, no sony law that says u have to update ur ofw.........and if i was sure this would work i would update to ofw latest anyway and just buy cobras ode when comes out, you can be on ofw and play backups from usb, would be an end to it maybe

i called like 4 times and they keep asking to a better worker their. they say: do u have a minute, u say yes. i w8 for 5 minutes they say yes whats ur problem i say my ps3 got banned is it a console ban or whatever. ive no accounts on it they ask the main account i say idk that one and they say sorry then we cant do anything about it. i say what!?!?!!! how bad is ur service? i bought something to play with friends now u have to fix it. they say bring it back we can't see anything from here.
I say bye then i never buy a sony product thank u!

Doesn't work they won't unban unless a legit excuse like the eBay thing is given and has purchase proof to back it up. Other wise they keep transferring you up to higher departments. when a console is permanently banned or banned for 1 year or more only a moderator can unban it, and they are unavailable to the public. If you are lucky enough to speak with a tier 3 sony agent (highest level a customer can be transferred to) they are the only ones that have contact with moderators but only through email. Before a moderator can unban a console though he has to file a report to management explaining the case of what happened. Very rarely management will feel pity and authorize it then the moderator will unban the system, but the Sony moderating team will monitor you and your actions on the system for 2 weeks to be sure your cfw or whatever you got banned for is over and you are legit.
