Post: A Possible Loop Hole in T&S Containing Console Bans
04-09-2013, 09:05 PM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Around the update 4.30 people have been getting console bans for hacking and exploiting.

When 4.30 was released, the T&S (Terms and Service) was updated stating that if you hack or exploit the PS3 you can get console banned. When you accept the T&S is when you update to 4.30 which 3.55 consoles didn't do. If 3.55 never accepted the T&S then that means that Sony has no right to console ban people. Also when you sign in with a spoofer, it clearly states that you are accepting the Privacy Policy, not T&S. If this is a potential loop hole, contact Sony support and demand a un-ban.

yea ikr,i dont think they did please tell me if im wrong but xbox didnt do anything when they got jtaged or rgh right?

i think the reason sony sued and dont like it is because they wanna be the best like xbox and pc and wii they all wanna be number one,if they get modded or hack it makes them look bad so i think thats why sony does what they do cause of that,i might be wrong but think about it?

If you have a PSN account you have already accepted the T&S.

this is good, but you would need a good lawyer to put it through and a lot of money to go through the courts, their terms of service doesn't mean crap all because it's not the law anyway (democracy and constitutional rights e.t.c, but sony seems to think that they are)

I think another issue is cheating in games... Piracy is an issue, but Sony may be afraid of the backlash they would receive if a large amount of people were able to jailbreak their ps3 and then use hacks online.

Developers often considered the ones who should be responsible but they can only can do so much. They ban your consoles ID; but because jail-breaking is allowed someone has developed a method to fool the developers security protocol and get back in the game.

There is only so much the developers can do to keep their game secure; its a game of numbers and I don't believe the developers, match the numbers of those who are willing to cheat.

What law are you breaking? The law they made... :dumb: If you don't like their product then move on to a different one.

if you really want to get technical when a spoofer is made all the coding for the console is originally taken from the ones sony make they are just edited so no update is required but you have the 4.30 coding for your system so you can access psn. when it is taken on thing the people who make the spoofers do is remove all the legal documentation and other hardware. which is a federal offense.
