Hey guys, today i'm releasing the developer menu for Dead Island Riptide. The menu is exactly the same as it was in the original Dead Island. You obviously need CFW to use this. This has the developer menu which you can give yourself god mode, unlimited ammo, kill all zombies, and more. I also included the cutscenes menu where you can watch cutscenes whenever you want.
How to install:
Go to this directory of your Dead Island Riptide game folder (Not the patch, the actual game):
PS3_GAME/USRDIR/DI/Data0.pak and replace it with the one below.
No worries bro. My PS3 version is complete, I just want to make sure there are no bugs before I put a download link up.

If anyone has this on Steam (For PC), I also need someone to help test for crashes with other mod addons.

UPDATE: Tests are in, but still doing some testing. Turns out PS3 menu coding is a little different from the PC version, go figure. Anyways, I am still working on making this right.

Unfortunately, so far it looks like the only way to do this for PS3 and get ALL the menus, is to semi-replace hints and 1 more random menu. (Due to the way the game was programmed to be handled on the console vs. PC) Could be Gamma, or the Journal. What a let down. Still testing though. This is not for sure yet.
and what's this other random menu beacuse i think i covered replacing all 4 menus... - besides options menu....
We don't need to replace the credits or any major menus lol. I was able to scrap parts of my PC version to make this work. We only need to replace a couple menus, so we can use the useless ones like Hints / Journal / Gamma if needed. I'm still working on not replacing any for the PS3 version though.

Also, can someone take a picture of the original PS3 Pause Menu (Un Changed) and post it here for me to see? Thanks!

Question to Uncle Tustin. When you use your Mod, your graphics look worse than unmodded? Just asking on behalf of Stevenfu3

The main reason being why this isn't working as expected is because I can't test this out fast enough to see what the issues are. The people who are testing for me have been absent for most of the day, and also I guess PS3 has a 30 minute data transfer or something for each update? On PC, I can test within a few seconds and know what needs to be changed.

I haven't noticed any graphics changes. It may be his display settings.
Try replacing the credits. I'm not sure if it would work though
i already tried that i tried replacing files that belong in main menu and other PC files and xbox file's i tried every thing - it looks like it has 2 exist int he ingame menu - even through i can make more appear in the in game menu where ever i want all i see is the text i press on it nothen happens....

i think there is some sort of master file that connects the ingame, main menu's and all those other menus 2 gather like a joint - if we can find it we should be able 2 get all dev menu without replacing any other menus...

your best just replacing menus with dev menus. We tested loads of ways of adding text in the ingamemenu on the right of the screen but you can never select it. Use gamma menu or anyone you do not use, i used the map as i never look at it.

You're right. It's the main .DLL that connects all the files. You can edit and change it and just straight out enable the menu completely (not unavailable), but whenever they do an update, you'll need to rehack it every patch. Also, this is a bannable offense on the PC, so I don't do it. If you want to try it, I can direct you to the right file.
