(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi guys, today I got the download for "PS3 Color Logo Creator" (which I couldn't find anywhere!) and made three custom coldboots.
The coldboot is the image and sound the PS3 displays on startup.
All the coldboots here are in full 1080p.

Coldboot #1
The first one I made was the PS2 logo with the PS2 startup sound:

Here's a video of it with the sound: You must login or register to view this content. You must login or register to view this content.

I made two PS1 coldboots because the PS1 startup has two images and the sound was too long.

Coldboot #2
The first one I made included the first image and first section of the sound:

Coldboot #3
The second one I made included the second image and second section of the sound:

This should bring back some nostalgia for a lot of you.

How to install a coldboot:
To install one of these coldboots you will need a 3.55 jailbroken PS3.

All you need to do is extract the .zip file,
Go to your PS3 and start "FTP Blackbox" or if you're on a rebug CFW start "Rebug Toolbox" (you can see your IP by clicking "System information".
Then on your PC start FileZilla and connect to your PS3.
Then go to "dev_blind > vsh > resource" or if you're on a Rebug CFW go to "dev_rebug > vsh > resource"
Then copy the coldboot.raf, coldboot_multi.ac3 and coldboot_stereo.ac3 into the "resource" folder on your PS3.
and that's it, now when you restart your PS3 it will load the custom coldboot.

Edit:

image is nice but the start up ps3 looks ugly because switch from a full image to wave..you need to use the original dds of sony..they have include the blur effect..use png imgases only with the ps2 logo, then you have transparent image and in background you can see the wave design..this looks more clear..

here is the original ps2 logo as png file
