Is the PS3 HDD light flashing? So the PS3 is running fine, you hit system off, it beeps then just flashes the green light until the back switch is turned off?

this problem is saved on syscall..sometimes if you use the fancontroll app you get this problem..if you want, reinstall the cfw or use on recovery menu options 2,3,4,5 one time..its definitly the syscall..

ok i'll try explain abit better this is what is happening no matter what i do on the cfw all i have installed is rebug toolbox and psid patcher and multiman as thats all i use and always have used so i turn the ps3 off and it just flashes the green led for ever intill i unplug the ps3 it only seems to do it on 4.46.1 lite cfw for some strange reason and yes the hdd indicator is flashing when i do something on ps3 so the ps3s obv fine idk what the problem is.

Try the 3 + 4 options in the recovery menu, this is a game/app lock up error, like what Sony_Black said with the syscals.
