1st.Start up Rebug Tool Box.pkg on your Jail broken PS3.

2nd.Start up Filezilla and connect to your ps3 via FTP

3rd.Go to the directory "/dev_rebug/vsh/resource/explore/xmb"

4th.Take out category_friend.xml (Make an extra folder and create a backup of what you take out) ALWAYS
BACKUP!!!! We all make mistakes!

5th.Open Notepad or any other Script Viewer

6th.And locate "Message Box" (Or Any Thing You Want To Edit I Just Put Message Box)

7th.Change Text in "title_rsc" to "title"

8th.Replace where you see "Message box"

9th.Save and drag and drop in the directory "/dev_rebug/vsh/resource/explore/xmb"

10th.Press the PS button and press it again to refresh and hopefully it worked for you, Cuz it worked for me!


You can take out other .XML files and explore the possibilities of what you can do like,
Create your own directories for only your hombrew

This a little tutorial for people who still dont know how to do this! I Know this is a little bit old.. but some people dosent know how to do this!
