How to create a backup dump incase you brick your console

You must login or register to view this content.

Whatsupp NGU, i'm here with a tutorial about how to create a backup NOR/NAND bin. There are more ways to do it for example using the E3 Flasher. But in this tutorial i will show you how to do it with MultiMan. It's always good to have a backup of some things of your PS3. That's why I really ask you guys to do this, just for your own good!

The main question of this thread would be:
Why should I create a backup dump?
-Incase you brick your ps3, you can unbrick it with your valid backup dump!

Let's get started

1) You will need to plug in a USB stick in the right usb port from your Ps3 You must login or register to view this content.
2) Start up MultiMan
3) Once MultiMan is loaded press SELECT + START at the same time. ( now the file manager will open)
4) Open PS3 Root at the right top corner & Navigate to any file and press X ( make sure it's a file and not a folder!)
5) Press SELECT
6) Press START
7) Choose the following:
Export GameOS LV2: NO
Export HV LV1: NO
Export FLASH: YES
Cool Man (aka Tustin) Once it has been completed there should be a file on your USB. If you brick your console you can use the file we just created to unbrick your console.

1- If you briked your Ps3 is useless have own dump if you don't have one flasher........
2-.....And if you have flasher it is assumed that you have made backups with flasherWinky Winky
3-If you don't have one flasher you need reverse the backup (like FlowRebuilder ) for can work the dump that you create with Multiman and after re-flasher the new dump......

You are so smart...
This thread has been created to show how to get a nor/nand dump, not to unbrick it. You can create a thread with additional info and stuff.

This is just for the people who don't want to use the e3 flasher to make a backup.
