no question is to dumb. just make sure to do some serchibg before you ask.
but a lag switch enables a user to create lag in his/ hers connection thus slightly creating an advantage aginst other players. in some cases it can be used to either freeze your self/ others, or as a way of finding glitches.

AAAHAHA F****** Newbs!!!The only boners using lagswitches are the dudes who completely SUCK at shooters but desperately want to play with the rest of us. We always laugh our asses off at you tools cus lag isnt enough to overcome your lack of skill.you still get slaughtered.But its not your fault-some people were born without hand eye coordination or a sense of situational awareness. I personally dont mind em-it doesnt change the game for me-I still humiliate your pathetic existences every time.Its just amusing that you are unconsciously admitting to the world that you are inferior, and need assistance. to get host easier: host a party of about 4-5 people then go to whatever mode you want..the reason is because the bigger the party the easier it is for people to join YOUR server..and if that happens ur host the WHOLE TIME ur in that lobby..once host: DO NOT lag for longer than 1 sec..myself i click and unclick in a 1 sec time frame..to long of lag will cause u to lag out or time out the game and get a loss...and if ur gonna lose the match and ur host...simply click the siwtch off and on alot of times after about 5-6 times doing that..simply hold the switch on for 3-4 secs..u may lag ur friends out too but the enemies will eventually lag out and forfeit....add me on psn if u want to see how a lag switch master does it

To get host you just need to have a good connection.. Make sure nobody is using a computer or anything like that at home.. If you have NAT Type it is very easy to host games. Witch a normal connection you can host up to 8 people (free-for-all), if you want to host more you will need to buy a better one. To get NAT Type 1 you have to enter your user name and your password on PPoE I think. I can host games and I have a normal connection speed like my friends, but they can`t host .. Try to enter your username and your password. You have to do custom Internet settings.
