The best way to bypass updates! I don't take any credit for the release or kiosk itself. I am just trying to help those of you out who want to bypass in a safe way! Just go to the ps3 customization thread and look for kiosk. I figured people weren't going to be looking anywhere else but here for mw2 mods! Happy modding!

Update it from 4.55 ofw through the XMB-> Settings -> system update -> Storage Device

In case you don't know how to put it on your ps3: make a folder on the root of your usb called PS3 then inside the PS3 folder make an UPDATE then place the file inside the UPDATE folder and if it isn't already called this name it PS3UPDAT.PUP

You can always get dropbox and upload to that. I use db and it's amazingly fast

it should go back to an official firmware thats not kiosk so it will not bypass updates anymore so yes it will make it like before
