Freezing Dumping eid_root_key?

Download & Install the .pkg file(s) on your PS3.
Open Rebug Toolbox
Make sure Toggle QA Flag is Enabled.
If on DEX, Swap LV2 Kernel.
Restart the PS3.
Run EID Root Key Dumper. It will restart your PS3.
Run IDPSet.
Select "Make CEX & DEX Dumps". When finished you will be returned back to the menu.
Select "Convert to CEX" or "Convert to DEX". When finished your system will be restarted.
Open Rebug Toolbox.
Select "System Information".
If it says "LV2 Kernel: CEX", "Target Type: CEX", you have successfully converted to CEX.
If it says "LV2 Kernel: DEX", "Target Type: DEX", you have successfully converted to DEX.

CEX to DEX (Without Flash Dumps)

Download & Install the .pkg file on your PS3.
Open Rebug Toolbox.
Make sure Toggle QA Flag is Enabled.
Restart the PS3.
Run the IDPSet.
Select "Dump eid_root_key". When finished you will be returned back to the menu.
Select "Make CEX & DEX Dumps". When finished you will be returned back to the menu.
Select "Convert to DEX". When finished your system will be restarted.

Select "System Information".
If it says "LV2 Kernel: DEX", "Target Type: DEX", you have successfully converted to DEX.

Open Rebug Toolbox.
Rewrite Target ID in Flash.
Swap LV2 Kernels.

DEX to CEX (With Flash Dumps)

Open Rebug Toolbox.
Rewrite Target ID in Flash (It will automatically swap kernels).

Turns out you need a USB in the ps3 when dumping the eid_root_key, as the usb is where the key is stored.
I'm willing to bet those who were freezing didn't have a usb in? :p

Kryptus, I tried this and when I click to dump, my console freezes and I have to restart. I even had a USB in. Can I contact you on Skype or through here for further assistance?

When Ever i try to dump the eid_root_key my ps3 freezes wtf i tried 6 times and it still wont work im on firmware 4.46.1 D-REX Help?
