Well this is something serious, I just updated to this cfw (with spoofers disabled) but when the ps3 restarted it screen froze. I waited for a few minutes and then restarted the ps3 it showed the do you want to restore screen even before I click OK the ps3 freezes..and now I can't start my ps3. Please help asap. Anyone.
I was on 4.66 habib.

1. Turn off your PS3.

2. Hold down the power button and wait for your PS3 to turn on and off.

3. Once it has turned off, hold the power button until you hear 2 beeps.

4. When you hear the 2 beeps let go of the power button.

5. Plug in your controller and press the PS button.

6. The Recovery menu should be on your screen now!

I think I should re download it and try again?
It was a rar file from the media fire link.

Edit : surprisingly the update works now doesn't show the error. Just plugged it in a diff USB slot. I'm installing it right now.

Try install downgrader rogero or reinstall your last cfw like 4.66

So I can go back to 4.66? It says you need cfw 4.70 or above to install..?


EDIT: Problem solved. I'm on 4.70 lol never been in this situation before so needed help. Thanks.

It froze again, I clicked the webman mod black icon (older version of webman mod 4.xx.18 ) to see if there's a option to remove it and install newer one, the ps3 restarted and it froze. And it's freezing at the start up again.
Last time also it showed webman loaded and the ps froze or there was the restore screen. Shud I reinstall the cfw?
How do I delete the the webman mod or shud I just update to the newer on as soon as I install the cfw? How can webman mod be the problem is what I'm wondering. Or its not. Idk.

Did the above thingy. Solved.
